This is my first plugin. I have long wanted to gett into writing plugins. Now I have finally released my first one. It is a very simple plugin, but something that I have needed a couple of times in my own projects.
The Reorder Entry Images plugin simply gives the administrator the ability to manually sort the attachments (images only) by drag & drop on the post edit page. It will list all the images that have been uploaded on the specific post/page and one can then reorder the images. This works for custom posts too.
Here is how it would look like on the screenshot of the post edit page:
This is a screenshot of the settings page:
Please download the Reorder Entry Images plugin from the WordPress repository.

I installed the plugin and it does what I need – allow me to reorder. But when I added in 10 new images and attached it to my page, only one of them is coming up in the list of images. I tried deleting and re-uploading. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi Sheara.
Did you upload the images via the page or the media library? How did you attach the images? What format are the images, are they either jpg, gif or png?
What WordPress version are you running?
i not get the images in admin page reorder
It only works for those images that you have uploaded in that specific post/page. If you have uploaded the images via media library or another post, then they will not show, then they are not attachments to that specific post/page.
Hello Vayu, thanks for your plugin! I’m using it to replace an old plugin that doesn’t work anymore with the newer versions of WordPress. Your plugin is simple and works great. As I’ve made a translation to Italian language, how can I send you the po/mo files so they can be included in a future release?
Hi Daniele! Thanks for translating it! Please send them to my email: info @ vrweb . dk
